Home Affairs Select Committee - evidence session 22 July 2020

The Home Affairs Committee will take evidence on police relations with BME communities on Wednesday 22 July as part of its inquiry into the Macpherson report: Twenty-one years on. The session will look at different programmes, research and training that both community leaders and the police are exploring to bring police and BME communities closer together. The objective being to improve BME confidence in the police service and also to provide an opportunity for police officers to hear from and better understand BME community perspectives.
