Home Affairs Select Committee to take evidence on policing and race
The Home Affairs Select Committee has stated its intention to complete the work on The Macpherson report: twenty years on, and will be taking new evidence on policing and race. This will include concerns raised in relation to policing of the Covid-19 lockdown and the reported disproportionate number of fines and investigations of individuals from BME communities.
